Brenda L. (Self) Darr

Brenda L. Darr, 62 of Bobtown, passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2024, in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh with her family by her side.  Brenda was born in Waynesburg on Monday, April 24, 1961, daughter of the late Harry K. Self and Donelda V. (Howard) Self.  In addition to her parents. she was preceded in death by her two sisters, Maxine Darr and Holly Bell.  Brenda is survived by her daughter, Karen Mayle, her son, Steven Darr and fiancée Korral Tennant all of Bobtown, three grandchildren, Katlin McCormick, Elizabeth Casner, and Andrew Tennant, Two brothers, John Self of Bobtown, and Bob Self and wife Deanna of Taylortown, her ex-husband but still close friend, Raymond Darr, and several nieces and nephews.  Brenda was all about her children and grandchildren, she was a good loving person and would always do what she could to help someone in need.  Friends will be received in the Louis E. Rudolph Funeral Home, Thomas B. Rudolph, Funeral Director & Supervisor, Point Marion on Monday, Feb. 5 from 4-8 p.m.  The funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 6 with Pastor Ginny Eberhart officiating. Interment will follow in Garards Fort Cemetery, Garards Fort.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family in care of the Rudolph Funeral Home, 15 N.
