Karen M. (Matusky) Hankinson, 68 of Lake Lynn passed away peacefully on Thursday August 15, 2019 in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, West Virginia. She was born November 3, 1950 in Blosser Hill, Pa., the daughter of the late Thomas and Mildred (Bates) Matusky. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Norbert Hankinson on March 15, 2012. Karen had been a cook at the Barn Door and Klondike restaurants and later worked at the Houze Glass Factory all in Point Marion and also worked at Shop & Save grocery store. She loved watching sports, reading books, and the supernatural. She is survived by her son, Anthony Hankinson and fiancée Stacey Sezawich, grandsons, Steven and Anthony all of Perryopolis, her sister, Beverly Kay Criddle and husband Ed of Alabama. Friends will be received in the Louis E. Rudolph Funeral Home, Thomas B. Rudolph, Funeral Director & Supervisor, 15 N. Main St. Point Marion on Sunday, August 18, from 1-3 and 5-7 pm and on Monday, August 19 until 10:00 A.M. when services will be held with Rev. Charles Ruble officiating. Internment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park, Point Marion.
