.Ralph E. "Duke" Franks, 67 of Bobtown, passed away Saturday, August 19, 2023 in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, West Virginia. He was born Tuesday, October 25, 1955 in Waynesburg, son of the late Silas Franks and Carrie (Nice) Franks. Duke worked for many years at Mt. Morris Tire. He is survived by his wife, Pearl (Buchheit) Franks, one son, William H. Cobin, one grandson, William G. Cobin, one brother, Albert Franks, three sisters, Alma Jean Kusick, Cathy Lipscomb, Marcy Franks, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by numerous brothers and sisters and he is also in heaven with his best friend Jack Holbert. It was Duke's wishes that there would be no services. Condolences can be made to the family here on the website.
