Sharon C. (Myorski) Travis

Sharon C. Travis, 84 of Morgantown passed away, Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at home.  She was born in Morgantown on Thursday, November 10, 1938, daughter of the late Joseph and Martha McFadden Myorski.  Sharon retired as Head Cashier at Kroger in Morgantown where over the years she provided the opportunity of summer employment to local high school students. She was an avid golfer and was a member of the Pines Country Club of Morgantown and she was a member of the Point Marion Thursday Night Bridge Club. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Darwin L. “Sonny” Travis, and her three sisters.  She is survived by her two sons, Wes Travis and wife Lisa of Morgantown, Brian Travis and wife Lois of New Castle, Colorado, grandchildren, Athena, Charlie, Deyna, Kimmy, Ashley, and Torey, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Louis E. Rudolph Funeral Home, Thomas B. Rudolph, Funeral Director & Supervisor, Point Marion.
